I'm living in Georgia(the country, not the state)!

Who knew that I would one day be living in the Republic of Georgia?!! There are times when I can’t believe it either. I look at the map of the world and I am on the other side of the world!! I am close to Russia, Turkey, Armenia and countries that I didn’t even know existed! In my 38 years, I would have never guessed that this is where I would be one day. I feel as if my life has completely changed in less than two months. My purpose and my family’s purpose in life has been renewed. We are finally getting to see this big, beautiful world and all it has to offer! It has not been easy at all to move to another country. Moving can be difficult no matter if it is another state or another country. It is a change of environment, people and activities. In our case, it has also been a change of language. Georgian is probably one of the hardest languages to learn in the world! I have learned the words: gamarjoba, kitri, didi madloba, ho-hello, cucumber, thank you and yes! That is the extent of my knowledge in Georgian. Yes, we have been frustrated and yes, things have made us angry at times but we always collect ourselves and remember that this was not going to be an easy transition but what an experience!! We have taken the good with the bad and are determined to have a good attitude even when things are not going our way! There are so many little things about Georgian culture that I could talk write about. I could also write about being blessed with the best job I have ever had as a professional. I will write about that later. For now, I am enjoying each day and the new experiences each day brings.
